One of my closest friends is a model. Actually, she's basically the only model I've worked with because 1)she's a professional 2) she's a friend so she's open to my amateur approach and 3) photography is just a hobby so I never really got to the point of looking for models.

She goes by Ariel X and she is currently working on a new website which doesn't have a splash page but does have a working blog. [link]

Well, the point is that she was showing me banners she made for her site which were cool but needed some tweaking so they'd be easier to read. In the same conversation, she asked if I could make her some wallpapers. I never really made wallpapers from scratch before but seeing as how I paint and work in photoshop all day, I figured hey! I'll give it a shot!

Sufice it to say... I got on a tangent and started busting them out left and right using various styles and techniques. I'll slowly upload them here for anyone interested.
